Women Empowerment

Helping women build self-reliance and live with dignity.

“When a woman learns a skill, she doesn’t just change her life – she transforms generations.”

A New Beginning at Nai Disha

At Nai Disha, we welcome women who have faced hardships—early marriages, endless household responsibilities, and low-paying jobs. Many arrive carrying self-doubt, but here, they find more than just training. Nai Disha is a place of hope, where women gain skills, confidence, and a sense of self-worth.

Through hands-on learning and a nurturing community, they rediscover their strength. Whether stitching, crafting, or creating, each product they make is a step towards independence. With every stitch and brushstroke, they shape not just beautiful items but also their future.

When they start earning on their own, there’s a newfound spark in their eyes—the joy of self-reliance, the pride of standing tall.

OUR PROGRAMS

Heart to Hands
Women Collective

Women are trained in stitching and handicrafts, creating high-quality products that reach European stores, local exhibitions, and curated gift collections. Their craftsmanship and dedication are showcased on a global stage.

Creations of Hope

Creativity is empowerment. We guide women in designing and crafting new products, helping them refine their skills and gain recognition. Their work is admired by visitors, donors, corporate buyers, and export houses worldwide.

Stitching Course: A Path to Independence

Originally launched with Singer, this self-empowerment stitching course is now fully managed by Nai Disha. Despite challenges, we ensured its continuity—allowing women to gain valuable skills and the confidence to build a better future.

Women Empowerment Advanced Stitching Course: A Step Towards Professional Success

After the successful completion of our Basic Stitching Course, we are excited to introduce the Advanced Stitching Course for girls and women who wish to take their skills to a professional level.

In this course, participants will learn to work on commercial machines with precision and minute detailing. The training will cover professional item making, ensuring that every stitch meets industry standards. They will gain exposure to various types of designers, learning how to take accurate measurements from mannequins to create perfectly tailored outfits.

Apart from technical skills, we are also focusing on personality development, styling, and professional conduct. This will help them carry themselves confidently, whether they choose to work in the fashion industry, start their own business, or take up freelancing.

Our aim is to empower women with knowledge and skills that open doors to better opportunities. With hands-on experience and expert guidance, they will be prepared for a bright future in the fashion world.

This course is not just about stitching; it’s about shaping dreams into reality.

Literacy & Digital Learning

Many of the parents we work with once struggled because they couldn’t read or write. Now, through Nai Disha’s literacy program, they can sign their names, access government benefits, and open bank accounts—small steps that create lasting change.

We’ve also embraced digital learning. Women are now teaching stitching online, expanding their reach beyond local communities. Priya, one of our young learners, became the first to teach stitching virtually through the Talwar Foundation. Her journey is proof that with determination, anything is possible.

OUR IMPACT

Following the launch of our impact report, we witnessed a remarkable surge in sales and interest in our work. It’s truly rewarding to see creations from our Women Empowerment programs finding new avenues in Hospitality, Corporate sectors, and even State Government initiatives.

Here are some of our recent milestones:

Corporate gifting (Pouches, Sling bags, laptop sleeves, tote bags etc)
Women artisans crafted table mats, napkins, and Balwadi floor mats
Handcrafted product kits created by women

Additionally, our handcrafted products were recently showcased at  Chinmaya Mission Gurudham, Gurugram’s VANI store, receiving appreciation and enthusiastic support.

Each of these achievements reaffirms our commitment to empowering women. At Nai Disha, we don’t just provide training—we help women reshape their lives. With every skill learned and every product crafted, they step closer to independence, dignity, and a future filled with possibilities.
